Furtherance Ministries was on the mind of Ed Sealy from the time he became a Christian. He would spend hours dreaming of ways to get the gospel to people. The logo for Furtherance was sketched out on any piece of paper that was available at the time. The scriptures confirmed “Furtherance” as a biblical word. The apostle Paul said he was set for the furtherance of the gospel. “But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel”- (Php 1:12 )

For many years the logo and the ministry dream gathered dust. Ed thought perhaps it was only a figment of his imagination until the Lord open the door in 1998. The Ministry was official incorporated and recognized by the Canadian Government as a charitable organization. Furtherance has a board of directors made up of quality men from various walks of life.
